If I keep my swearing up I’ll end up like this as well
Lee and Linzi Steer, who run ‘Ghosts of Britain,’ which has 1.8 million followers on Facebook, visited the Adelphi Hotel this week
Paranormal investigators say they were left “shocked” after an attempt to communicate with spirits in a hotel in Liverpool ended in foul language.
The ghost hunters more recently conducted an investigation at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool this week on Tuesday (June 22), as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
It’s understood that they had wanted to stay the establishment for quite some time, because it has previously been named the most haunted hotel in the UK.
The couple booked room 105, which they were told had seen paranormal activity in the past, and got to work investigating the building during their recent visit.
According to the Echo, Linzi said: “We asked if there were any spirits present and didn’t really get a response.”
The couple, from Rotheram, are also said to have witnessed the lifts moving and opening their doors without anybody operating them during their visit.
Other potential paranormal activity reported include whistling and scratching, and the temperature in their room changing by ten degrees in a matter of seconds.
Lee said: “They never did anything that we asked them to do, it was always in their own time. We placed machines around the room we were staying in and they would wait until we weren’t expecting it to touch the machines.”
Linzi added: “In our room itself there was a little entry area and then the door into the room and the bathroom. Lee said he closed the door when he came in but on three occasions the door ended up being wide open.”
It’s been reported that one viewer pointed out what appeared to be the silhouettes of two children in one clip from the Adelphi, which Linzi hadn’t previously noticed.
Linzi added: “To me it looks like two children and I feel like one of them is a girl. It reminded me of the twins out of The Shining.”
